Raisio has completed successful acquisitions 

At Raisio, we have shown our ability to complete successful acquisitions. The acquisition of British Glisten plc in April 2010 was the first concrete example of the implementation of Raisio’s growth strategy. The acquisition of Big Bear Group in February 2011 complemented very well the Glisten acquisition and brings the necessary critical mass for the future. With the completed acquisitions, Raisio has gained a solid foothold in the UK breakfast and snack market. Raisio acquired Polish Sulma sp. z o.o’s pasta and grit operations in March 2012. In November 2012, Raisio acquired the Czech company Candy Plus, a confectionery manufacturer. Raisio sees interesting growth potential in confectionery business.

My name is Jukka Grönroos and I'm 23-years old, currently studying hospitality management in Turku University of Applied Sciences. I'm a second year student and hopefully graduate some day in the future and realise what I like to do for a living and where.

I play guitar and even managed to get into a couple of bands and that is a sort of a hobby for me right now, but in the past I was also doing different kinds of sports. My name is Oskari, 24 years old mate from great city of Salo. I'm studing hospitality management at Turku University of Applied Sciencest (UAS). This is my second year at this school.

I started my studies at Rovaniemi 2012, but later I moved to Turku(UAS) due personal reasons.

I have enjoyed the way of my life so far (as much I could). I love sport and music, and luckily I'm capable to practice these subjects by myself at the moment. Never thought that I could managed to do something awesome or clever in my life, but now, it looks like that there is the opportunity, thanks to my encouraging friends. Also I'm basic user of computers so problems should be solved, I think...

The goal of my life is (as usually) to be happy, to be loved and to be wealthy. Maybe little bit of money but first things first. Family will be always the most important thing in my life.

Hi y'all!

Hello to everyone. My name is Joni Vepsäläinen and I'm 26-year-old student from Turku University of Applied Sciences. I'm studying hospitality management.

I chose to apply here in Turku university of applied sciences after trying half semester in another university of applied sciences. I tried business information technology first, but my relationship with computers is that we hate each other. I hate when I try to do just a simple task with computer and they somehow recognize me and mess everything up. So long story short, now I'm here and pretty satisfied what I'm doing.

My goal is to get a job related to facility management and I'm working hard to reach that goal. I have too many years for retirement to work in a place that I don't like, so now it's my time to shine.

I'll keep my hopes up high and head down low.
